Gas gauge problem 850 1993

Klaus,

I got this baby figured out. I turned the whitish round ribbed cover off and voila, there's the sender. I almost got myself in trouble as the connector has to go through the fuel pump access, and there's not enough clearance to get the plug out the sender access hole.

I may have loosened up the float mechanism. Maybe it will operate to my satisfaction.
