John -

There's ALWAYS a point in trying :-) My response to this argument is to ask how happy you'd be if we electronically limited the top speed of your car to the top posted speed in your state. It isn't legal to go above, so what's the point in having it available?

Just trying to play the devil's advocate here, so please don't take it as a personal attack. I haven't gone faster than 120 myself, though I have banged against the RPM limiter.
