A caveat when using "Armor-All" is needed.

I used to work for ***-******* who makes the base silicone product used in Armour-All and probably the bulk of similar products. Be careful when using the stuff in engine bays. I don't have any empirical evidence but know for a fact that silicone based products such as Armour-All, RTV type gasket sealers, additives etc. can migrate eventually to the O2 sensor and will "kill" the Platinum sensor i.e.$$$ This has been in many GM tech bulletins as I suppose others.

I wouldn't go crazy with a full bottle of the stuff and spraying my engine compartment with it. Especially the serpantine belt.

IMHO, something like Simple Green to clean and leave it alone.
