Dave, I'm going into my third winter with my S80 T6 on Gislaveds. I've got 52000 km on the car. I live in Richmond Hill, and I am extremely pleased with the Gislaveds' performance in heavy snow. Remember winter before last? I experienced no problems whatsoever with those snow falls. They are noisier than the Michelins but you stop noticing that soon after changing them. They also make handling slightly different because they are not as wide, but that feel goes away shortly after the changeover. Tread wear seems good, although I can't compare them to anything since this is my first car in 17 years. A car enthusiast friend says that they are a good Swedish winter tire.
Have fun!
