Thanks Klaus. I really thought as much. I read a bit before I ever posted. I will make one last run at checking for vaccum leaks.

I bought the car about 6 years ago and the records indicated a new engine was installed prior to coming to the US (Prior US ARMY owner in Germany)and I think in the swap the wiring was rerouted to be infront and not hidden so at least R/R will be easier. XEMODEX now has a version that eliminates the dealer software reprogramming which saves a little $$.
