e-brake rattle 850

The two pieces of the link are separate from the cable and can be purchased at the dealer for who knows how much. I would also get new springs, the old ones get rusty. Coat the linkage and springs with brake grease to hold off the rust.

BTW, if you install the large spring first, it is much easier to stretch the small spring into place.

Replacing a cable is a lot of work and not needed so long as the cable moves freely.
