You can leave the fuel rail loose and lift the manifold up and rest it upside down on the cam cover, without disconnecting the rail or the injectors. You don't even have to remove the throttle body, just the cable and the hose to the idle control.

There are lots of short cuts. Some remove the fan shroud for more room.
