I've used the procedure at http://www.lakesidedp.com/uploadpics/pcv/ a couple of times now. No need to move the injectors at all if you do it this way. Also, he recommends putting the car up on ramps, but unless your hands are huge, that's not really necessary, you can get at the 12mm bolts from above. Sounds like this is an urgent project for you, best to get it done ASAP. The damage from excess crankcase pressure easily outweighs anything you might do in removing the manifold. Just be a bit careful, especially when reconnecting the fuel lines!
