Thanks, Rich. I appreciate your and Klaus' input. See my response to his comment above. Glad you had a good experience with the 850. The good cars are out there. Just waiting for the right one to come along. As I said to Klaus, this was a happen-to-see drive-by. Just didn't seem to have the care it should have and even with the CarFax, not enough mtce info. It needs tires, O2 sensors (expensive) and most likely for my peace of mind, a tranny drain and change. And a center armrest recover. Oh, and as someone said on edmunds.com, there are no manuals for the car. Volvo only supplies that info on an expensive yearly subscription. Don't know if that's accurate or not but I've heard that same thing about VW Jettas of late.
