S70 Opinions-Additional S70 1999

Mr. I'm in the same boat as you We've been driving the RWD 240's & 740's since 1985. I'm not sure if a reliable FWD ACTUALLY EXISTS. I LOOK AT ADS FOR THE fwd
AUTOS WHAT DO YOU SEE BUT, JUST REPLACED FRONT TIRES, HAD NEW cv joints installed
just had $1200 work done to front end steering suspension, etc. no thanks my bricks just keep running.
Like you, Wife & I planning long trip around the USA she's from over seas
I'm becoming leery of my '91 turbo wagon. I'd like to buy a Volvo but lack of employment for several years precludes this from occurring. I'm actually looking at a VW TDI SPORT WAGON GAG! barf. But seriously I'm thinking of buying a '96 850
turbo wagon with a blown head gasket. If you find the answer we both seek pls. share with a fellow Volvo affectionado. I'm Bill @ 1williamleland@gmail.com THX
