Battery running down 850 1996

Could be the glovebox or trunk light.
you can verify that the abnormal current drain is gone by
putting your ammeter in series with the battery and see what
current is flowing with everything off. Should you see more than
20 ma., then you can start removing fuses to find the fault.
(That's providing the fault is in a fused circuit)
Watch out that no one runs the windows or headlights etc while you are measuring series current. Then you'll be looking for meter fuses or worse.
