I made a toy out of a fuse, soldered a couple wires to the stub ends at the top and then
soldered them to a panel light bulb. Plugged that into #15 slot and the light lit all right.
Susan got in the car (opening the car door made the light brighter because of additional current)
and then pushed the button on the glove box door frame and the light went out.
Lacking any felt buttons (actually I think I have some but couldn't locate them quickly)
I put a piece of double sided tape on the inside of the door and stuck a piece of 1/32" rubber
sheet over that and it was enough to do the job so now both her foot and her car will allow
her to drive.
I would recommend the above-described toy to anyone who needs to diagnose or locate a short
in your car. VERY easy to use!
