Caliper question 850

I am rebuilding the front calipers on my 855 and was looking for some advice. The rubber parts the slide pins are in need to be replaced on one side. Is this something I can get at the dealer? Also I looked up online parts catalogs and see these slide pins have some sort of cover/caps. None of mine have covers. Are these important to keep the slide pins protected.
