Hi,
a couple of years back my 850/94 had this jammed left hand break cabel as I was about to renew the shoes. The cale is pvc coated but for some reason rusted 4".
I used a lot of silicon/weapon oil sprayed and some brutal force (ie used a level) to pull the wire loose at the tire end...and succeeded.
