My experience last summer with my '94 turbo was finally to change both sensors, & still the light wouln't reset. One sensor was cheap & inaccessable (high labour cost) & the other expensive but easily accessable (lower labour cost). Then , about a week later the light extinguished itself & remained so for about 3 months. It has been on now for almost a year & the car runs just fine. One sensor (the inaccessable one beneath the injector rail was found to be burnt, yet no change in performance was noticed.
