Thanks Klaus,
i do have reverse lights and borrowed a foxwell nt300 code reader. Bearing in mind that i am not all that competant with anything computerised past the on/off switch, i found the following: P0750 $1F shift solenoid A so i assume there is an issue with the shift solenoid.
What are the fixes?
Also whilst i was dancing on the buttons i found P0001 fuel volume regulator control circuit/open. This i assume is bcause the ign was on but engine not running. Is my thinking correct? Anyone know if the foxwell can diagnose the issue with the shift solenoid and how i go about it. Regards David
