I would also take the car to an autoparts store. O'Reilly's will loan you a scanner for use in the parking lot - free, and you can also delete the code. Don't forget to write down all of the codes.

If the rpms drop when the AC compressor kicks in, that could be an indication of a dirty throttle body. Your car is old enough to start looking for cracked vacuum lines/elbows.
