Nearly two years ago, our '95 854 base needed an exhaust system.

I had my dealer install a Volvo system.

A couple of weeks later, the tailpipe started hitting the left rear spring - it was several inches out of place.

The service manager had no explanation for the problem. They ordered a new system and both systems were matched on the floor - its shape was exactly the same.

In order to get the system to fit, the tailpipe had to be heated and bent.

They told me that they would talk to Volvo of America.

My confidence in Volvo parts is shaken!
