Long time no post! Advice needed on 99 S70 engine..... S70 1999

Thanks Klaus. Yeah, I know it isn't worth much at all, but I have a deep love for this car! Honestly, I think I'll keep it on the road until it just refuses to move anymore. Anyway, I have the old engine and transmission out, have broken them apart, and am about 80% done with the rebuild of the used engine. I have all of the parts and tools I need. I'll tell ya what, it takes a REALLY long time to get all of the old gasket material off of the mating surfaces... Razor blade scraper for the big stuff and then paint stripper for the rest seemed to work well, but it was still time consuming to keep from marring everything up. I'm so excited. I am on par to have the engine back in within the next two weeks, unless I decide to check the transmission gaskets. There's quite a bit of oil on the trans, but I'm not sure if it's where the old engine was puking or if the gaskets on the trans were leaking. I'm thinking of tearing into it, but may not. Transmissions scare me and I'm already nervous enough from having to drain it of fluid when I removed it. Not completely, but most came out when I pulled the axles.
