When reassembling, you can put strut assy back into car without top nut (or remove top nut and plate after you lower car) and give the star nut a couple of blips with an impact gun. The FCP video showed the guy giving it a couple of taps with a drift, not good enough. If you don't get the star nut tight, the thing will rattle/clunk in few weeks. Ask me how I learned this. You can buy an impact socket from HF and grind 4 notches in it. I actually got that tip from my friendly local dealer.
