Thanks for the info on the Michelins.
I have studded snows for the winter that are just fabulous here in the
center of the 2015 snow festival (Boston)
I had Michelin all season tires before and concluded that they were all-season
only if you lived in the tropics. I'm on top of a steep hill, and it was a thrilling adventure getting home with them in snow.
I see that Michelin downgraded the tire rating but not the price so there's
some suggestions that it isn't the same deal now. Some places don't have prices
for it?
Shopping for tires is a mysterious crapshoot.
