Expanding a bit on the last post:

The adaptor needed varies by year. IPD sells them as do

stereo stores. One is much more expensive then the other.

A 95 uses the less expensive one.

Constant 12V power (and ground) are provided to the CD player

via the cable. All power connections are made at the radio end

of the cable.

I had no problems finding 12V constant behind the radio using

a meter.

To remove the radio push on the two vertical bars on either

side (near the bottom). They pop out. Pull them and the radio

pops out. Easy.

Cables can be run under the carpets (carpet breaks under the

seat as I recall). You need to drop the knee padding plastic

section under the steering wheel to allow you to run the cable

up the side of the center console to the radio (the vertical

part of the console to the right of your knee). Just push your

arm under the carpets to grab it and pull thru the carpets.

At the rear it is easier if the back seat is out (easy in a

wagon; can't figure out how to do it in a sedan).

Check if the cable has one end specific to the radio and don't

run it backwards!

I have a changer mounted horizontal and it does skip except

when there is a few hundred pounds of luggage in the back.

Over time, the skipping has gotton worse. The unit is an Alpine.

The rear position rght over an axle may not be the best location.
