Question about shocks and struts and age

LOL. I just pulled the cover off the rear shocks so I could look at the top bushings. Amazing how clean they looked. But the left shock mount went up in the air when I pushed on the bumper!!! the right shock was firm. I guess that I need to replace the shocks and bushings.

Time to get out the PBblaster! See if I can spray the base of the two top nuts, I expect them to be a bit rusty. I don't want to break off the bung nut.
