X90 Curb Weight ?

It is true that the XC90 T6 will weigh about 1000 lbs more than the S80 T6.

The first batch of XC90s bound for the US will be XC90 T6s. Thereafter, a mix will be able to be configured..

As Arno pointed out below, there are close to 8 different variants of S80 models that are sold in Europe and the rest of the world. There are S80s with the 2.0l 5-cyl HPT engine, S80s with the 2.4l 5-cyl 10-valve (!!!) engine, S80s with the 2.4l 20-valve N/A engine, S80s with the 2.4l LPT 20-valve 5-cyl. engine, S80s with both diesel engines (the old generation and the new common-rail TDI), etc.
