There is a pass through the firewall that Volvo has there for you. It's on the drivers side, near the fuse box. You'll see a hose with other wires and such coming out. Just fish it through there and it will come out on the other side above and to the right of your clutch area. I put some flex loom over the tube so it wasn't exposed in the engine compartment, just an idea.
