Want simple & reliable? 850 1996

Man you are so right, I can't beleive there is somebody out there who is in the same universe, we have an 88 and 91 245 but I was going through a small town in Ga the other day and saw a 72 Valiant for sale, had a nice gouge on the drivers side, I looked it over good, 101k miles no rust /6 with torque flight automatic,
(we had a 71 back in their hayday),new fuel pump, battery, fuel filter, factory AC, the dash and seats were vinyl but no cracks!$1200, probably too much, my wife heard me talking the guy on the phone about it and started giving me death stares, It's unreal how much crap I have taken because I know a good car when I see one, even if it's not something most people would want to be seen in. I'll never get it, too much cost on the homefront,if your interested I'll get you the numbers. I've made a recent post on the V8 achive about the possibilility of a slant 6 would fit in the 200s or 700.
