850's complexity 850 1996

Wow!

You edged-out a 115HP, 1.7L four-cylinder, weighing 2,500 lbs. with your 168HP, 2.4L five-cylinder, weighing 3,200 lbs.

I am impressed.

Come on. Pick on someone your own size.

I've got a friend who works for the Acura division of American Honda. They do extensive analysis of the manufacturing processes of their competitors.

In fact, the parts-count on a Volvo is appreciably higher than that of a Honda. The labor required to assemble a Volvo is also appreciably higher than that of a Honda.

You may like your Volvo more than you would like a Honda, but the fact is that, by any measure, a Volvo is more complex than the typical Japanese car.
