Many have reported evaporator problems and the cost to replace varies, from $800 to twice that. There have been many threads about this topic and the likely causes. Theories range from r134a being more corrosive and leaks occurring from the inside out, to lack of a pollen filter resulting in pollen reacting with the evap and corroding. I still have the original evap and added a pollen filter a couple of years ago.
The other items you mentioned are fairly common 850 items and low dollar fixes. However, even the negotiated price seemed a little high based on Edmunds private party price of around $10K. Good luck in your search.
