brake fluid every 2 years should be good. brakes are not something u want to compromise.

valve tap/ticking noise. it happens on my inline-5 turbo, becoming really noticeable when it's really cold, around 40F or below. it's just the valves clearing themselves. shouldn't be too worried about it. i've heard it on others i5, and haven't heard it on other i5. ur i6 shouldn't be too different as it's basically just an i5 with an extra cylinder.
