To find terrific (and well-illustrated) instructions for changing your cabin air filter, go to http://www.Volvospeed.com
Click on "repairs/maintenance" in the left pane, then click on "filters". Scroll down to S80 cabin filter to access the instructions.
Note that the two Torx screws closest to the firewall do not have to be removed completely, just loosened.
