You did it w/o removing assembly? Here's what I did... S70 1998

How on earth did you get the new clips back on w/o removing the assembly? I just finished installing the driver's side lens, and didn't see how it could be done w/o removing the entire assembly. Maybe the S/V70s are different. Here's what I did:

1. Remove wiper arm (10mm ratchet)
2. Remove lower headlight trim piece (just pull)
3. Disconnect assembly wiring
4. Remove hood latch (2-12mm? bolts). Didn't have room otherwise
5. Remove the 4 long bolts (10mm). 1 behind the blinker, 3 from the back
6. Remove assembly
7. Pop the clips off (new ones in box)
8. Remove lens, bulbs and rubber gasket
9. GENTLY clean reflector (water and soft cloth)
10. Install new gasket, bulbs (easier now than later...) lens
11. Install clips (I used a small screwdriver)
12. Re-install assembly.

Did I miss anything? I'll take "after" pix tonight when it's nice and dark, and post them.

/Scott
