Transmision shifting problem 850 1994

Shortly after posting my initial message my transmission arrow started blinking and my check engine light came on. The code on the transmission was 3-2-2 which points to the PNP switch as the problem. For a temporary fix I followed the instruction on Bay 13 and ran the shifter back and forth through the gate a few times to clean the contacts. Seems to have fixed the issue for now. As for my microswitch, it was fixed by the dealer a couple of years ago and has held up so far.

I guess the PNP switch will be on my todo list.
