I take whatever precautions I can while racing. It is possible, maybe not for you to understand, but then again, I'm talking to someone that doesn't read posts very well before responding, and responds as if they know better then I, what is involved with street racing.
What kind of support do I have there? Well the cops are sitting RIGHT THERE watching us. Fire and emergency medical services are 3 minutes away at all times (a standard in my area). It does NOT take police 1-2 hours to respond to us, it takes 1-2 hours for them to find the owners of the private roads to confirm we do not have permission to be there, in order to chase us off. Often, most of the owners couldn't care less. And unless a cop sees stupid things like illegal lighting or hassling of traffic, they are more then accepting of what we do.
What about unforseen traffic? Gee, we are in industrial private roads, with all entrances and exits blocked off. Yup, lots of unforseen traffic there. For all you unaware, we are a lot more organized and coordinated then you think we are. We have police scanners (very helpful with helicopter surveillance, keeping tabs on where cops are and aren't), we block off all entrances and exits, 99% of us have cell phones or radios to keep in contact with each other at all times, we help out each other when someone has a problem with their car, if someone were to get hurt, you better believe they are going to get help asap.
Please read posts more carefully before you waste more of your time and mine.
