If it is just a manual boost controller which basically circumvents control of the bypass valve of the turbo, there really is no point. You need an entirely stand alone engine management system such as a Haltech or Apexi.

Like I said, if all you want is the sound, it will do it, but it definetly won't increase any performance aspects of your car, if anything, it'll decrease performance slightly, ESPECIALLY on automatic cars.
