Pre-Wired Fog Lights? 850

All Volvo options are prewired.

With the foglights, you need a relay and the OEM switch. You may also need to connect the terminal of a jumper wire that determines US, EUR or JAP modes of operation (though some 850 owners have found this wire to already be connected).

Foglights in US/Canadian Volvos only work when the headlights are on. I used n0v8or's wiring diagram to defeat this scheme - I can turn the foglights on whenever I want, and they go off with the ignition; so now I use the foglights as DRL's. (Better to burn up a $4 H1 lamp than a $20 VisionPlus H7.)
