I agree with you about the problem with the independant. My problem is that we would never have had the problem in the first place, if Volvo had informed me about the "identical" tire requirement. And/or if the Dealer who rotated and checked the tires at 67.5k miles had said anything. The Dealer pur the big radius tires on the back. The independent should have known about this problem, since it is so common. The Dealer who rotated should have known. From reading all the posts in here about this problem, I can see that most owners were given some info about it. Volvo says my address was wrong in their system so I never got any info. However, Volvo finance has certainly had no problem finding me.
