AMSOIL is made in Superior WI. It has been on the market for 30 years now--I've been using and selling it for 25 years.
AMSOIL introduced the first API synthetic, and has been the leader in the field ever since. It is recognized as the leader within the industry.
Primarily sold by independent dealers, but it is available from some auto parts stores in some areas (mostly independent stores or small chains). There are at least two shops in the greater DC area which specialize in Valvo/Saab and carry AMSOIL.
