I drive a 98 GLT and live here Canada with plenty of snow. I purchased a set of H-rated Yokohamas Avid H4 Touring, 195/60/15. Doesn't fill the wells as nicely as the Mich's 205/65 but boy, they give you one hell of a smooth quiet stable ride, for a good price. Snow traction is decent but not the best. However I can live with that. I don't want a false sense of security either. These tires let you know what's going on and communicate the road condition without being totally useless in the snow.Tire rack has a good review site. I based my purchase on it and never looked back.
