Front Stabilizer Links 850

Common problem. I've taken mine off to see if they were causing the
clunk I had (then drove the car with no front sway bar links). Its
pretty easy. Raise the car and unbolt the link. The sway bar acts as
a spring and pushes up on the link. You need to get a short piece of
pipe (or long wrench) and place one end under the A arm and the other
over the sway bar. Press down to hold the sway bar in place such that
it is not pushing up on the link. You can actually get the link off without
this "lever" technique but you need to do it to get them back on.
It all makes more sense when you actually do it and the job is not at
all difficult.
