ABS Trac question 850 1996

The 1996 and 1998 model years are infamous for ABS control module failure. In 98, the board or the solder cracks. For 1996, sometimes it's the board, but sometimes bad wiring crimps are implicated. (As to the 1996 model year, that's the sum total of what I know. Your tech or dealer can scan codes and tell you whether you have the bad crimps, which can be repaired.)
