Yes and it's not that simple. Volvo has a TSB with a long proceedure on how to do it and it uses their VST scan tool to monitor a few items. It's way more involved than just going for a drive. The last car we had requiring this proceedure took one of our hourly guys most of a day to perform including a couple trips to our states emisions testing station.
