Tires S70 1998

i have a 1998 s70glt and bought Michelin metric plus but they dont make them in the higher speed rating like the oem tires.

We dont travel at high speeds here in the usa due to speed limits so i thought the higher speed rated tires was a waste but most tire stores wont sell anything except what is in the bible(Tire&Rim Assoc book).

so i had to buy them at Sams and have an indy garage put them on.so far so good.i am a big fan of Michelin having worked for Goodyear in the past.

good luck.there are alot of good tires out there but the high performance tires dont get good mileage.like anything else, its a trade-off.
