An inexpensive tire to consider is Kumho. A relatively new tire on the scene for cars. Mainly used to be a truck and equipment tire. I have them on my '91 300ZX and have really liked them. They are good on wet and dry...I don't drive it in the snow. Look at survey results at www.tirerack.com. Am considering them on my '99 S70 T5M. I hear they are difficult to balance but have not had that problem. Good luck.
