O course, by now, many of the original kinks should have been fixed in warranty (or otherwise at the owner's expense). You should ask to see the repair records and see if the known trouble spots have already been taken care of. This car comes highly recommended by several sources as the overall safest vehicle you can buy in terms of probabilities. (In certain situations, it might be better to be in an SUV, say, but on average, this is the car to own for defensive safety.)
