Thinking of buying an S80 S80

With all due respect Waldo... I have been surfing the MB sites specifically because I was in the market to purchase an E500 since January... Until just about a week ago I was still planning on executing that purchase. Have you really been reading the MB sites? I held off my purchase specifically because I wanted them to figure out the gps navigation situation first. Am I glad I stalled. I don't know where you get this idea that MB quality is way up there. Personally I have decided that it is not where it needs to be for a car that is $20k more than a fully loaded S80T6 premier... Sorry it isn't worth it... and sorry, MB quality has taken a serious hit. The word on the street is that they have learned more bad things from Chrysler than good things that Chrysler could have learned from them.

If you love your MB, that's fine. If you're saying all the MB sites have glowing reviews of their cars, you just aren't hitting the interesting MB sites... Just last Friday, I decided to put my money down on a loaded 2004 S80 Premier and save myself $20 grand... Factory order went in and they can't do the Four-C suspension option in time. Oh well, that's fine... probably one less thing to worry about breaking. All these cars have problems. You want reliable? Buy a Lexus or Infiniti... Certainly not a Volvo, Saab, BMW, or MB... You cannot argue that MB problems have NOT gone WAY up over the last five years...
