re: ECU vent location on MY2001 S80 2.9
Unfortunately, not universally true. I have a 2001 S80 and, before I relocated it, the vent pipe was still in the old position, not securely mounted, passing within 1/2" of the accessory belt, and exiting through an opening in the lower engine cover. I have the photos (of the original position) I sent to Volvo with a letter asking if moving the vent would void my warranty.
