(1)I used three pennies taped to a 1/2" rachet.The biggest problem was installing the belt over the crankshaft pulley.
(2) The tensioner cannot be replaced until it is compressed as it will be to long. If it compresses easily or shows signs of leaking REPLACE
(3) Width is the difference used on earily production.
