Transmission starting off in winter mode 850 1993

My 93'GLT does the same thing when it comes to a full stop slowly. The tranny seems to be stuck in 2nd or 3rd but after maybe 5 secs 1st suddenly back on. it happens quite often lately. However, I still don't recall a DTC code or blinking arrow last time i checked. 1-1-1 means system okay right? what should I do now??
