....use this magic trick that works every time. My cell phone nestles comfortably into the corner where the service light is, so I just place it right in front of the service light. Two minutes later, voila! the light is off.

You could go to a Volvo tech who has the special tool to turn it off. Or you could buy the tool yourself, but a couple hundred bucks seems like a lot of money to spend on a light switch.
