Transmission Problems 99 S80T6 S80 1999

The transmission is made by gm (4T65E) and is used in full sized front wheel drive gm cars and had problems in 1997 and 1998 but by mid 1999 gm had fixed the bugs.
You can buy a filter at any local parts house for less than $10.00
This a great transmission as long as you change the fluid every 30000 miles.
interesting info on gm web site this transmission is rated for max 280 ft lbs torque (same as T6 output)
